We’ve just beaten Barcelona 4-0 at Wembley in our final International Champions Cup game.
Mane opened the scoring in the first-half, before two quick goals after the break by Mascherano (OG) and Origi virtually sealed the win. Grujic added a late fourth.
But how did our players fare individually? We take a look…
Simon Mignolet – 8.5: Made a series of great saves to redeem himself after the Roma error.
Nathaniel Clyne 7.5: Got forward well, especially in the first half.
Dejan Lovren – 8: Easily dealt with Barcelona’s illustrious attackers.
Ragnar Klavan – 8.5: Matip and Sakho might struggle to dislodge him from the eleven when they return.
James Milner – 7.5: Was playing well before his injury.
Emre Can – 6.5: Wasn’t as influential as normal.
Georginio Wijnaldum – 7: Showed some flashes of what he’s capable of.
Sadio Mane – 8.5: His best performance in a Red shirt so far.
Adam Lallana – 9: Was arguably our best player in the first-half and set up the opening goal.
Philippe Coutinho – 7: Missed a good chance and struggled to influence the game too much.
Roberto Firmino – 7: Solid without being spectacular
Alberto Moreno – 7: Gave the ball away cheaply a couple of times.
Jordan Henderson – 7.5: Instrumental in the second goal.
Divock Origi – 8: Consistently dangerous. Looks certain to start next weekend against Arsenal.
Kevin Stewart – 8: Played an important role in the second and third goals.
Lazar Markovic – 7: Some nice touches, but is he doing enough to convince Klopp to keep him?
Danny Ings – 7: Worked hard, could be a good season for him.
Marko Grujic – 8: Scored a lovely late header to take his pre-season tally to three.
