Ex-United player gives intelligent insight on Daniel Sturridge form

Before we dive into this article, let’s get a few things straight and in the open:

  1. We hate Man United.
  2. We strongly dislike Ryan Giggs
  3. We love Daniel Sturridge

All that said, the Welshman has offered some astute and intelligent insight into the problems surrounding our frontman this season.

Sturridge is yet to score a league goal this season in three starts and three sub appearances – though he did find the net twice off the bench in our 5-0 win over Burton Albion in the League Cup.

Giggs thinks it’ll all down to his decision making. The ex-United winger says “he has everything”, but needs to improve in that one key area.

“I played with Sturridge at the Olympics,” said Giggs. (Echo)

“He has everything. He’s got a good touch, good finisher, he’s quick, he can run the channels but to be a top, top player… decision-making.

“You have to make the right decisions. You have to make the right decisions more often than you make bad decisions.”
