The transfer window closes this afternoon (UK Time), while there are a few frantic last minute deals going on I have not heard of any Liverpool ones. The window in Spain has already closed which means that there will not be any deals with ANY Spanish clubs. In short: No Van der Vaart, No Silva, No Villa and Mascherano will stay.
Rafael van der Vaart : The Dutchman is staying put at Real Madrid, the Spanish window is already closed.
Andrea Dossena : The Italian is set to remain at Liverpool after he was able to find Barilla pasta at the local Tesco. (the Barilla pasta piece is a joke but he is staying because he could not agree on a deal with Napoli).
Charles Itandje : Has joined Kavala FC on loan, hopefully he stays there.
Mathieu Valbuena : The former Liverpool target is stating at Marseille.
Bolo Zenden : The former red is being linked with a late move to Portsmouth.
Other News:
Fabio Aurelio : The Brazilian will be available for the Burnley game (welcome back Fabio) after his holiday injury.
Miguel Torres : Real Madrid sold the defender to Getafe however the news media gave many of us Liverpool supporters a shock when they put out headlines such as “Getafe snap Torres”.
Marco Materazzi : The former Evertonian has sued an Italian film director over the plot of a TV show because the character in the show keeps blaming Materazzi for losing in Fantasy Football. Gosh, I guess Zidane has left him emotionally scared from that head-butt from the World Cup Final. Oh! I better shut up before he sues me too.
Robbie Fowler : God is causing all kinds of sensation Down-Under, apparently he scored a wonder volley. We will try to find a video of it.

Well we’ve got no money so only possible loan deals for us, but who’s out there who we can get on loan but is also good enough, van der vaart maybe, he hasn’t been givin a squad number so why would real pay his wages for a year when we can, also horse head maybe another possiblity, great second striker and last but not least what about a loan bid for benjani I know not the best but city are lookin to offload him and he’s got to be better than vorian hasn’t he? Can’t really think of any defenders who’d be worth gettin on loan
Your wrong my friend. The Spanish window may be shut but players can still leave Spanish clubs, just means Spanish clubs cant buy. Check the BBC website if you dont believe me.
