Reports from yesterday evening suggest that Chinese business tycoon Kenny Huang is in the latter stages of talks with RBS for an immediate takeover of LFC.
My knowledge and knowhow of this is limited to what I read in the papers and on various internet sites. Therefore I will not comment on the what, why, when and how of this possible deal. Only that it would be extremely good to put a stop to the saga of the yanks.
I am only hoping that there is no comparison to the eighties Level 42 single “The Chinese Way”, there second single from there album THE PURSUIT OF ACCIDENTS ;o)
The last couple of days has seen an increase in stories linking Juventus and Denmark International DM Christian Poulsen to LFC. Poulsen played for Hodgson when both were employed at FC Copenhagen. CP’s agent Bonnesen is quoted in newspapers today saying that Hodgson and CP has spoken several times during the last couple of years. In regards to a deal being close Bonnesen rather cryptically said: “ it is not unlikely, but still not certain”. Reports coming out of Italy suggest the 2 clubs have already agreed a fee for Poulsen in the region of 6 million Euros.
Speculations rose even higher when Poulsen was left out of Juventus’ squad for their Europa League game last week.
Oh and by the way Torres will return to Melwood today..

i really hope there is some weight to this huang concept and if a deal can be struck then sooner than later, we have to make the best of the transfer window as possible and new investment at this time will be a big boost not only to the club but the team also, the likes of torres and co would be much happier and i feel then we could get back to our old winning ways. i do hope roy brings back the spirit of the boot room and bring back man to man marking i think its what is required
