Another player who struggled to live up to expectations after being signed for an astronomical fee by Kenny Dalglish. He steadily improved under Brendan Rodgers, but was far from a regular.
7) Joe Allen (Swansea City)
The Welsh midfielder has made a slow start to life on Merseyside. He’s enjoyed plenty of game time, but is another player that’s not fully justified his transfer fee.
