The Liverpool striker hasn’t been given much opportunity to get himself noticed on the pitch so far this season, so was clearly determined to make an impression off it, as the Liverpool Echo reports.
His striking ensemble was completed by a lilac shirt, white jacket and appropriately red tie – as you can see from his post on social media website Instagram below.
Borini has been a bit-part player for us so far this season, making just 16 appearances in all competitions and scoring only one goal – against Aston Villa earlier this year.
The 24-year-old Italian spent last season on loan at Sunderland, where he became a key player for the Black Cats with ten goals in 40 appearances. It was hoped he’d be able to continue that form this term but he has so far been disappointing.
