Took his goal marvellously well. He was not to be put off by the pressure of the desperate Palace defence, and tucked the ball into the top corner. We are really starting to see the best from him now. Hopefully, next season he will improve even further.
AM- Philippe Coutinho 7
Palace gave the Brazilian a lot of extra attention throughout the game, aware of the threat that he poses. He couldn’t stamp his usual authority on the game, as he had an opponent man marking him for much of the game.
ST- Raheem Sterling 5
Unfortunately, Sterling proved that he is not a striker with this performance. He failed to create many chances of note, offering little in the way of creativity.
