The Argentine is one of the most highly sought after young players in football at the moment, and is being chased by a number of top clubs. Inter Milan failed to secure Champions League football this season, and hopefully that will convince Icardi that his future lies elsewhere.
His hugely impressive 22 goals in 33 starts this season (via Who Scored) suggests he could really add something we’ve been missing recently. We’ve struggled for goals from our forwards recently, and Icardi would definitely go a long way towards remedying that.
