Daniel Sturridge was taken off after 68 minutes of tonight’s Europa League tie with Manchester United, and sulked all the way off the field.
(We’ll find a clip as soon as possible.)
The forward needs to cut this out, frankly.
Sturridge is being subbed early because 18 months of his career have been ravaged by injuries, and he needs to walk off the field with grace when Jurgen Klopp decides he’s had enough.
Besides, he was probably our worst player tonight, and we secured our passage into the quarterfinals.
We understand he’s desperate to play, but he surely understands why he’s being looked after. It’s for his own good.
Unlike many of these fans, we DON’T want Sturridge to leave (he’s potentially brilliant), but he needs to sort out the attitude!
Not to happy with sturridge reaction to being subbed and his lack of respect to Klopp on the touchline

Hate it when players come off in a sulk. Sturridge has had 66 minutes to show what he can do there and it’s a team game. — Steve (@SteLFC9) March 17, 2016
One reason Sturridge will leave Liverpool is his attitude. A constant sulk because he thinks he should be the star but isn’t #bbcfootball

Sulk all you want Sturridge, you’ve been shite again — Ben Nicholson (@benrfc19) March 17, 2016
Sturridge can be an awful selfish sulk sometimes.
