Our 19-year-old Spanish midfielder Sergi Canos is reportedly set to make his debut when we play our final league game of the season against West Brom on Sunday.

According to the Echo, Canos will train with the first team at Melwood tomorrow having just returned from a loan spell with Brentford. It was a fantastic season for the youngster; he scored seven goals in 39 appearances and won the club’s goal of the season award.

Klopp has now revealed that the former Barcelona youth player could be involved at the weekend.

“Sergi will be training tomorrow because he is back with us,” he said.

“He knows more about English football and it’s possible he’s available for Sunday. That’s unbelievable and great.

“We will see how he feels. He did really good at Brentford and had a lot of time to play. For him it was really good. The Championship is a really strong league and he did well.”
