We’ve just finished our final home game of the season – a largely dour 1-1 against Chelsea.
In truth, we never looked like getting out of second gear. It seemed all the players had one eye on Basel and were more interested in getting through the 90 minutes without injuries than winning the match.
The draw was a fair result – Chelsea rarely threatened and we had few clear cut chances ourselves.

In the end, it was the substitute duo of Ojo and Benteke who combined for the late equaliser.
Unsurprisingly, lots of the post-match reaction on Twitter focused on their introduction:
KLOPPAGE TIME
Benteke’s goal for Liverpool
against Chelsea was the club’s fifth goal after
the 90th minute, more than any other side— Taiwo Sport Ibrahim (@itaiwo95) May 11, 2016
Agenda against Benteke has stopped, I have no idea why I had one against him tbh

Lallana is dead. All he does is CRYUFF TURN.. One or two good things then goes missing. Same for Firmino, constantly goes missing

@gregwelby Lallana is poor every game, midtable dross
