Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has highlighted Philippe Coutinho as the one player he wishes he could have played alongside during his own career.

In an interview on LFC Xtra, Fowler called the Brazilian a magician and said he would have thrived on his through balls.

Fowler scored 183 goals in 369 appearances during his two spells at the club, it’s terrifying to imagine what he could have achieved with someone like Coutinho feeding him for all those years!

The 24-year-old has racked up almost 30 assists across all competitions since signing for the club from Inter Milan in the summer of 2013.

His best season came in 2013/14, when he picked up seven assists in the league alone.
