Cameron Brannagan and Connor Randall are both set to remain at Liverpool after no loan offers were forthcoming for the young pair.
The Echo’s James Pearce confirmed the news via his Twitter account earlier today.
Both have been the subject of a lot of interest from Championship clubs during the summer, but neither could secure a move away from the club.

It could be because of Klopp’s new requirement that any young loanees play in at least 75 percent of club games for which they are available. It’s not easy from promotion-chasing Championship sides – such as Wigan – to make those bold promises.
On the plus side, at least the young duo will now get more time on the training pitch with Klopp. It’s fair to assume we’ll see them both in League Cup action when we face Derby in the Third Round in mid-September.
