Well done Mamadou Sakho. Whatever you think of him as a player and a professional after the past torrid six months, it’s undeniable that the Frenchman is a good guy underneath it all.
He and his wife do countless bits for charities and today Sakho uploaded this video to his Facebook page which shows him taking two families who’ve experienced hard times to Disneyland.

You can see that he means what he’s saying when he’s speaking about wanting to give something back, instead of just peddling something at the club’s demand – for example.
At the moment, Sakho is not in first-team consideration, with Jurgen Klopp claiming match fitness is the issue. Time will tell if he manages to change the manager’s mind any time soon.
