Klopp absolutely rips Mourinho with withering assessment of his comments

Jose Mourinho. What a joker.

Look, we absolutely don’t want United to do well, but in a perverse way you’ve got to feel sorry for their fans. They’ve got the most expensive squad in world football and the most expensively-assembled squad England has ever since, yet despite having plenty of attacking talent they opted for a bus-parking approach at Anfield on Monday.

The situation was made all the more laughable by Mourinho’s ridiculous post-match comments, in which he accused us of being the defensively-minded side and said we weren’t the last wonder of the world.

For reference, they had a little over 30% possession and only six touches in our box all night.

Now Klopp has openly mocked Mourinho for all his “givin’ it large” comments in the post-match interviews.

“I don’t care what people say after the game. I saw the game already, I know what I have to learn from it and all that,” said Klopp. (Echo)

“Don’t bother me with these things. I am not a single per cent interested.

“I learned pretty early in my career that you cannot win the game after it has finished. We have a point and it felt positive, because it is one more than before the game.

“It was a good experience for us, we weren’t perfect in the game but that’s all. Nothing else.”
