Jamie Carragher pulls no punches when discussing Liverpool and fairly went to town on Jurgen Klopp and the players following last night’s 3-1 capitulation away to Leicester City.
Jamie Vardy scored two and Danny Drinkwater once as Leicester won for the first time in the Premier League this calendar year, following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.
Carra said Liverpool’s tactical decision were farcical.
“Liverpool always play the same way. What’s wrong with Liverpool going to a side like Leicester and thinking, What do they want to us? They want Liverpool to have the ball, win the ball – play in Vardy,” he said.
Of course, that’s exactly what Liverpool did. It’s a combination of arrogance and naivety and yet again it cost us.
