(Video) New-look crossbar challenge leaves Klopp in hysterics as the Reds train in Tenerife

Jurgen Klopp is a manager for tireless work on the pitch, supreme focus and determination but also a manager who loves to have a bit of fun.

Liverpool’s Tenerife training promises to stage both sides of the German in full flow as he not only strives to prepare his players for a tough end to the season but also maintain a positive mood within the camp.

There is seemingly a healthy mix of relaxation and concentration taking place as the Reds make the most of the warmer weather.

It poses as a valuable opportunity for several youngsters at the club to impress their manager while a number of first team stars are away on international duty. Besides this, they have also been granted the chance to integrate with and learn from experienced figures such as Lucas Leiva and James Milner.

One part of training in particular caught the eye as the players battled it out in a new-look crossbar challenge that put Dejan Lovren on his backside at one stage, much to Klopp’s amusement.

The atmosphere looks great and the players look full of energy. Let’s hope some time away has a more positive impact than the trip to La Manga did.
