Saturday officially marks 125 years since Liverpool Football Club was formed and 125 years of countless unforgettable memories.
A landmark birthday for a club that has been the source of jubilation and joy as well as heart break and despair, a club that fans have fallen in love with and can’t help but be obsessed with, regardless of the circumstances.
Generations of devoted supporters have been treated to a conveyor belt of Liverpool legends and memorable games across a 125-year span that has seen the Reds grow into a worldwide phenomenon.
In Anfield, Liverpool found a home, a fortress and, for a long time, one of the most feared football grounds in the world, blessed with having the best fans in the world fill it up to cheer their beloved team on every weekend.
Steven Gerrard, Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley. Liverpool have been honoured to have had some of the greatest names in the history of football serve the club and produce the special memories fans live with to this very day.
