Daniel Sturridge scored today to liven up a pretty miserable game at Anfield. The striker, who’d been very quiet in the first-half, finished neatly with his favoured left foot after a mistake from the Huddersfield centre-back.
He also performed his trademark celebration, which was nice to see!
The striker was Sturridge’s 100th club goal, which says more about how much of his career he’s spent injured than anything else, considering he’s 28-years-old.
Today hasn’t been pretty, but this goal might prove decisive.
