We all know about the charismatic man that Jurgen Klopp is away from the pitch, but Trent Alexander-Arnold has given us some more insight into the Liverpool boss.
His character has endeared him to us all since he arrived on Merseyside, and now as we continue to take strides on the pitch in the all-important hunt for major honours moving forward, Klopp has been lavished with praise by one of his players.
Alexander-Arnold has enjoyed progression of his own under the boss, and we hope that he can continue to establish himself in the first team and become another stalwart in the senior side having come through the youth ranks.
Klopp will play an important role in his continued development, and the 19-year-old has given us some insight into how he believes his manager gets the best out of him and his teammates.
“He’s really good with man-management,” he told ‘This is Anfield’, as per liverpoolfc.com.
“Smile. Enjoy it! That’s a big thing because if you’ve got a smile on your face and confidence about you then you’re bound to play well in games, so that’s probably the best advice he’s given me.”
With 27 appearances to his name for the senior side so far, the teenager has made an impression on us to this point, but he’ll have to continue rewarding that faith from Klopp to ensure that he has a big part to play moving forward and is a regular fixture in the line-up.
