It was expected that Daniel Sturridge would move on loan to Newcastle after a report in the Times, but this afternoon Guardian journalist Andy Hunter tweeted that he’s actually on the verge of a West Brom switch.
Daniel Sturridge is expected to join @WBA on loan.

Despite being fully fit, Sturridge hasn’t made the Match Day squad for our past two defeats, indicating that he’s going to depart.
West Brom beat us on Saturday evening, but have struggled for goals all season and will massively benefit from a striker of Sturridge’s calibre.
We hope he scores goals and earns a spot in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad – as he’s one of the country’s most talented players.
He sadly doesn’t suit Jurgen Klopp though, who is overseeing the exits of Coutinho and Sturridge in the same window.
For some reason, he’s not going to replace either.
