Liverpool’s priority at the moment is strictly on field.
We’ve got two matches in which to confirm our place in next season’s Champions League via a top four finish, and then the final of this year’s competition against Real Madrid.
In three games we could have had one of our greatest ever seasons as European champions, or one of our worst – without silverware and the pain of Europa League football in 2018/19.

Klopp invites imminent LFC signing to Champions League Final as a ‘boost’
But despite our imminent focus, there’s one eye on upcoming transfer windows, especially considering how threadbare Jurgen Klopp’s current squad is.
The Echo claim that Napoli’s Jorginho and Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic are definite targets, while suggesting Alisson is also being eyed, although Liverpool are wary of the price-tag Roma will put on his head following the bargain sale of Mo Salah last summer.
Multiple top clubs want Jorginho, and we’ll face a real battle to clinch the Italy international’s signature. In terms of a ball-playing no.6 though, he’d be an incredible signing.
Dortmund will also charge crazy money for USA starlet Pulisic, who used to work under Klopp.
We need a creative, central playmaker, who can perform wide or in midfield and in this respect Pulisic fits the bill.
Acquiring him will be mighty difficult, though.
Some fans don’t think we need to replace Loris Karius, but we’d suggest if a world-class stopper is on the market, it’d be foolish not to try and buy him considering our problems between the sticks for many years.
Let’s see what happens! What’s certain though is that our performances in the Champions League have already made us, Anfield and Klopp a mighty exciting proposition for potential recruits.
