Sky Sports journalist jokes about concussion after Karius news

Is concussion something to joke about in sport…?

We’re honestly undecided on whether this is inappropriate or just quite funny, so will you let make your own mind up.

Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has joked that he also suffered from concussion last summer when he made his outlandish claims about Antione Griezmann, upon hearing the Loris Karius news…

Last night, it was revealed by Massachusetts General Hospital in a report by Doctor Ross Zafonte, that Liverpool’s German goalkeeper suffered a concussion during the Champions League Final, which likely affected his ‘visual spatial awareness’ and therefore contributed to his game-changing mistakes.

The exact moment the concussion occurred hasn’t been explained, but it almost definitely took place 130 seconds before Karius’s first blunder, when he took an elbow to the head from Sergio Ramos.

The game is over and we’d rather move on, but this is a genuine medical report and not Liverpool-led propaganda, as some fans have suggested.

We still need to replace Karius (he was never good enough in the first place), but perhaps we can at least feel some sympathy towards him instead of anger.
