There’s still four more World Cup matches to enjoy before we get truly stuck into the transfer rumour mill, but Liverpool haven’t been close to buying anybody since the Nabil Fekir deal broke down, and some fans are getting a little tetchy!
We still need a new goalkeeper and a creative midfielder – and probably backup for the flanks as well.

South American Dybala reports send LFC fans into overdrive
As a result, hundreds of players have been tediously linked – but perhaps none as exciting as Paulo Dybala.
The rumour has life because it looks like Cristiano Ronaldo is Juventus bound, which could make the Argentine sensation available.

Now, Liverpool’s respected correspondents, such as James Pearce, Paul Joyce, etc, have a habit of shooting down nonsense rumours immediately.
For example, Pearce immediately came out and rubbished the Jack Grealish reports in the Echo last week, and his colleague at the Mirror Dave Maddock did the same for Domagoj Vida.
So with fans everywhere asking about Dybala, the fact that there’s silence from the journalists in the know potentially speaks volumes.
Of course, a genuine interest in Dybala doesn’t mean we can genuinely sign him. First, Juve have to accept an offer and then we have to convince the player of our project and get his pen put to paper.
Still, for now, we dream!
#LFC want Grealish

Club stay silent…

Given how quickly the Vida and Grealish rumours were denied, I’m choosing to believe that the silence over Dybala means that he is 100% signing for the Reds. Allez Allez Allez. pic.twitter.com/HymoYSlbAk

Grealish and Vida rumours binned and proven to be bullshit straight away.. Dybala rumour though, all quiet.

Have you noticed when big names like #Dybala are rumoured James Pearce says nothing when it comes to Grealish straight away it gets shot down 🤔

If the Dybala interest wasn’t genuine, surely one of the journos would’ve shot it down, Grealish rumours were put to a stop almost instantly
