Asensio was part of the Real Madrid team that beat Liverpool 3-1 in the Champions League Final, largely down to two horrible mistakes from our German stopper.
It’s since been proven that Karius suffered a concussion early on during that game, which could have affected his performance, but further mistakes during the summer have sadly only reiterated his reputation as an error-prone keeper.
Still, this isn’t especially nice or classy from Asensio, and we’d hope better from a professional footballer when it’s clear cameras are around.
Karius is already in a pretty fragile mental state, and we can’t imagine this will help much.
