Jurgen Klopp has praised ‘world-class’ Sadio Mane – saying he always knew how good the Senegalese winger was.
Klopp effused, via LiverpoolFC.com: “He is an outstanding player, I never had any other opinion. Since he came in he helped the team so much.

“He is physically strong, technically strong, he is unbelievably quick – he is quick in mind as well – and he is a good shooter with both feet. He is a fantastic person.
“Everything was good until the first time his shape dropped a little bit – he needed to get used to that he is a world-class player. Now, he knows that much better.”
There was a period where he lost confidence last season – but Mane still notched 10 Premier League goals and another 10 in his debut Champions League campaign.
We think he’ll reach 20 league goals this season, having already got six at this stage. He’s simply a delight to watch.
