Spanish journalist Guillem Balague says the Reds have no interest in signing Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona – and that they are not going to sign anyone at all in January.
On his YouTube channel, Balague said: “Liverpool have not made any offer – it is not true there is an offer. It is not true that Liverpool will even make an offer.
“I believe Liverpool do not have any intention of bringing new players in in January.”

Part of the reason that Jurgen Klopp is not interested in Dembele might be his attitude, which Balague says has been questioned by key Barca players like Ivan Rakitic. Dembele has also turned up late for training.
If he is a bad egg, it’s definitely best we avoid him. Liverpool’s scouting covers all areas, so they’ll definitely be on top of any off-the-field antics that might be offputting.
