Mo Salah was Liverpool’s Man of the Match against Bournemouth, grabbing a hat-trick in the 4-0 victory, but when he was given the award at the end of the game, he opted to hand it to James Milner instead.
It was Milner’s 500th appearance as a Premier League player and it was an incredible gesture from Salah to recognise the achievement.
Milner had a decent game at right-back and Salah wanted to show his appreciation for a 16-year career despite the fact the Egyptian will get all the headlines for his trio of goals.

We all know how much of a top man Salah is on and off the field, and this just underlined it even more: what a man.
