Eagle-eyed camera men were at hand to capture the moment Mohamed Salah handed Roberto Firmino the ball for his penalty against Arsenal.

The Egyptian kindly gave up his spot-kick duties to give his teammate the chance to complete a hat-trick in the Reds’ emphatic 5-1 win over Unai Emery’s men.

Firmino had inspired a swift first half turnaround after the visitors took the lead against the run of play through Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The Brazilian first capitalised on some sloppy defending to tap home from close range, before putting two defenders on the floor to score a stunning solo goal two minutes later.

Sadio Mane then grabbed a third shortly after the half hour mark, with Mohamed Salah later winning and scoring a penalty in first half stoppage time.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were awarded their second penalty of the game in the 63rd minute when Sead Kolasinac appeared to barge Dejan Lovren.

With Firmino searching for his treble, Salah passed off the opportunity to add to his tally and instead obligingly gave the ball to the no.9.
