Confirmed Liverpool XI vs. Wolves: Klopp hands out two debuts & names 16-year-old on bench

Teenagers Curtis Jones and Rafael Camacho will make their senior debuts when Liverpool take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Monday night.

The pair mark two of nine changes made by Jurgen Klopp to the team that suffered a first Premier League defeat of the season against Manchester City last Thursday.

Both come into the starting lineup having trained as part of the Reds’ first team for much of the campaign alongside their duties with the U23s.

Camacho will be deployed at right-back as Trent Alexander-Arnold is handed a rest in view of Saturday’s league meeting with Brighton.

Jones will meanwhile take his place as part of an apparent midfield three, which also includes James Milner and a returning Naby Keita.

There are also places on the bench for impressive 16-year-old defender Ki Jana-Hoever, 20-year-old midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies and 20-year-old goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.

A rest for Virgil van Dijk means summer signing Fabinho will drop into a centre-back role beside Dejan Lovren, whilst Alberto Moreno comes in for Andrew Robertson at left-back.

Klopp has his deadly attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane at his disposal from the bench if necessary later in the evening.
