How good was Fabinho last night, Reds?
For us, it was one of the best individual performances from a midfielder we’ve seen all season.
The Brazilian is an absolute monster whose physicality is pretty much unrivalled.
Manchester City have Fernandinho at the base of their midfield, but now we have someone we reckon could be his equal and then some.

Fab had all ten Watford players in his pockets last night; making a ludicrous number of interceptions and starting attacks quickly from deep.
It’s bizarre to think he couldn’t get in the match-day squad at the start of the campaign!
Now, he’s one of the first names on the team-sheet.
Fans on Twitter lauded his contribution; with many stating his long legs and robust style remind them of Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.
Obviously he has a long way to go to emulate the World Cup winning Frenchman – but the comparisons are a big compliment to a signing who’s proving himself to be one of our most astute in many a window.
He was built in same factory that they made Vieira and Yaya Toure in.

Tackle of the season there tonight. Fabinho deserves a flag off the back of this interception. pic.twitter.com/vtokUnFuCy

Reminds me of Vieira the way he holds the ball. Looks a great player so far

He does remind me of Viera a bit but with better passing range. Fantastic player for Monaco and was always going to be just as good here. He never has a bad game.

Fabinho has these telescopic tackling legs Vieira had.
