The agent of Ajax and Morocco star Hakim Ziyech admits he’d like his client to join a club like Liverpool or Arsenal in the future.
Ziyech starred for Ajax against Real Madrid last night as the Dutch giants knocked the Champions League holders out of the competition in the round of 16.
Speaking before the January transfer window – Ziyech’s agent was asked questions about rumours of his client moving to AS Roma in the Italian league.
“I hope there’s a better club than Roma in his future, like Arsenal, or Liverpool, and that he can join such [a club] someday,” he said to Voetbal Primeur,
To make things even better – the Moroccan international was also subject to rumours of interest from out bitter rivals Everton. Speaking on those rumours Ziyech’s agent said that “joining them would have been nonsense“.
By many fans Ziyech was considered a natural plan B when Liverpool reportedly opted out of signing Nabil Fekir during the summer transfer window last year.

The Moroccan has an impressive 18 goals and 15 assists in all competitions for Ajax this season – it is worth noting the bulk of these have been in the Dutch league though.
That being said he has managed four goals and two assists in just 13 Champions League appearances which confirms his pedigree.
