Mohamed Salah’s last gasp headed effort was inexplicably turned in by Toby Alderweireld as the Spurs defender guaranteed us all three points and top spot in the league.
In his post-match comments to Sky Sports, the Egyptian King called out the naysayers and the critics according to Goal.com’s Liverpool correspondent, Neil Jones.
Salah to Sky post-match.
“The important thing was to get three points. I haven’t scored for couple of games but there are some players who have the same number of goals as me but are having the season of their lives. I’m supposed to be having a bad season!” #LFC

It is a travesty that Salah is being compared to what was a peerless season last time out.
After absolute scenes in the Spurs game, 26-year-old now has 25 goal involvements in the Premier League this season, while Raheem Sterling and Eden Hazard are both one behind on 24.
Our No. 11 is right to call out this campaign against him – compared to “high-flying” Sterling, Mo has 17 goals to his 15, nearly identical stats for assists, chances created, and dribbles to the Manchester City attacker – plus six winning goals to the Englishman’s four.
But it’s Salah who is the one season wonder?
Who’s top of the league then?
