Rafa Benitez is being linked with a potential switch to Lyon, according to French outlet L’Equipe.
The Spaniard’s contract expires at the end of this season, and he’s recently signed a deal with French company Score Agencies to manage his interests in France – leading to speculation about his potential next managerial move.

The former Liverpool manager has worked wonders at Newcastle on a shoestring budget, with owner Mike Ashley continually breaking promises that he’ll back Benitez in the transfer market.
Newcastle’s fans love him, but Rafa’s stock is big enough to get a bigger job – and Lyon will be in the Champions League next season.
They also have the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Nabil Fekir, Memphis and Houssem Aouar – four exceptionally talented players who could play for most sides in Europe.
Perhaps Rafa is simply heading to Lyon to finally send Fekir to Anfield?!
Who knows – but the Premier League will be a sadder place without the man who led us to Champions League glory in 2005.
We still have to face Rafa’s Newcastle, of course – on the second last day of the season. Our feelings towards him may change, temporarily, should the Magpies end our title pursuit!
