Dean Saunders has outrageously claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s goal against Watford was more of a Goal of the Season contender than Mo Salah’s thunderbolt against Chelsea.
From the voice of the valleys to whatever is the diametric opposition to the voice of reason, the former Wales striker incomprehensibly told talkSPORT that “I enjoyed that goal more than Salah’s.”
“Aubameyang’s goal – and this is going to sound stupid – but that’s Goal of the Season, for me.”
He claimed that the Arsenal stiker’s determination to chase the ball down and force Ben Foster into a back-of-the-net error trumped the sheer spectacle and magic of Salah’s goal.
