Leeds United fans have taken an interest in Liverpool’s new home kit announcement as James Milner was left out of the first batch of media.
The midfielder hasn’t made an appearance in any recent kit announcements – something which has become a bit of a running joke.

Milner kept it light on social media; one Leeds fan replied: “That’s because you’re coming home #lufc.”
Another put: “You’ll be modelling the new Leeds kit soon. No worries.”
A third backed up the theory: “Because they know you’re coming to Leeds.”
“Come model the Leeds kit when we go up lad,” said another.
It wouldn’t be a big surprise if Milner did make a move back to his boyhood club. The 33-year-old is entering his twilight years just as Leeds looks set to return to the Premier League.
We don’t talk about it too often, but the midfielder is actually out of contract in the summer and will be free to move wherever he wants.
Little has been said about a new deal for the veteran so it’s likely a move is on the cards. He’s played 28 Premier League games for Liverpool this season and may very well go out with a bag, scoring his third title.
