Memphis Depay has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks, and his latest activity on social media has Reds fans talking.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Lyon are open to cashing in on the Dutch international with the Reds reportedly monitoring the situation.
The midfielder shared a video to his Instagram page of himself boarding a bright red plane, in a bright red suit, with the caption ‘merci Lyon’.
On va tout interpréter maintenant avec le mercato qui arrive.

Now you know the transfer window is truly beginning to spice up.
The ‘thanks Lyon’ caption is quite cryptic and does seem to suggest the star is on the move. We’ve also seen players dress up for the club as Naby Keita famously sported a red suit around the time it was rumoured he was set to join Liverpool.
The video has had Reds fans talking about a possible move for Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum’s international team-mate – with some excited by the prospect and others suggesting the video shows exactly why we shouldn’t go for him.
I’m not sure I agree with the latter – when van Dijk didn’t get his transfer to Anfield the first time around he sulked on social media, and he turned out okay.
Depay ? Not sure how he fits in with the ethos of this team. He's bit too flamboyant compared to the spirit Jurgen has fostered at the club.

I'm betting these Depay links get shot down any day now by Pearce/Joyce/Jones, but it does make me laugh how fans of our rivals are playing the same game they played when we were linked with Salah, like they genuinely don't watch football.
