Adam Lallana says he will definitely still be at the club at the start of next season, despite various reports linking him with a move away.
His former club Southampton had been linked with a £13 million swoop, but Lallana says he has the full backing of Jurgen Klopp and the management team, and will not be going anywhere.
Adam Lallana: "The gaffer & his staff and the recruitment guys have all made it clear they know I have a big part to play with what’s to come next, so I’m buzzing with that. No question my future is here and I can’t wait for what’s next" #LFC

When he is on the pitch, he has a lot to offer, while off it, Lallana is a well-respected member of the dressing room and a key component of the squad in terms of leadership.
Given that Lallana is staying, a reported move for James Maddison seems unlikely to materialise and it could have a knock-on effect for the rest of the transfer window.
Recruiting another creative midfielder now appears to be less of a priority, with more of a wide player the most likely addition.
