Liverpool have been linked with a move for Fiorentina starlet Federico Chiesa by Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb (via Tribuna).
Chiesa is one of the most promising players in Serie A at the minute, and like Mohamed Salah, he plays on the right wing and would likely be a backup for the Egyptian at Anfield.
The Italian may very well prefer a move to a club where he’d play more regularly, and his price tag will probably put off Liverpool.
Chiesa scored 12 goals and assisted four times in 41 domestic fixtures last season and is subject of interested from Spurs and Serie A giants Juventus.

Opinion
I can’t see this one happening; if we didn’t have Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri then I’d be a bit more open to seeing Chiesa at Anfield.
It’s his price tag too – as per the same report, the Italian is valued by his club at £71million, and I can’t see FSG sanctioning that transfer for a bench-warmer.
The winger is too good to be a rotation player and would find first team football elsewhere. His father, Enrico Chiesa, is a hero at Fiorentina so maybe he’ll stick around in Florence.
