Liverpool are said to be in the market for a new winger and have reportedly set their sights on Lille superstar Nicolas Pepe.
According to L’Equipe – via GFFN, the Reds intend to position themselves in the coming weeks with Inter Milan having already submitted a €70million / £60million bid.
It’s now gone as far to images that are apparently of his first interview with the club have been shared online. It’s hard to know for certain, but it seems as if this is just a hoax.

The forward will not be short of admirers this summer after netting 19 times in Ligue 1 this season – only PSG’s Kylian Mbappe (30) has more.
Bayern Munich, PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested in Pepe, according to the Metro, but the Blues are facing a transfer ban so they’re likely to miss out.
Pepe is typically deployed on the right side of an attacking trio, like Mo Salah, but can play in any of the three roles occupied by our Egyptian, Sadio Mane and Bobby Firmino.
The Ivorian international is versatile, which is something that Jurgen Klopp likes in a player, but I just don’t see this one happening. He is too good to sit on our bench. I’d expect a move to Arsenal or PSG to be more likely unless we move someone on.
With Inter and Bayern also said to be interested, it’s not as if the lad will be short of options in the summer.
