(Video) – Firmino finishes stunning counter to send Brazil into final

Roberto Firmino finished off an exceptional attacking counter with a cool tap in to guarantee Brazil’s passage to the Copa América final by beating Argentina 2-0.

After Bobby set up Gabriel Jesus with a simple pass into the box for A Seleção’s opener against Argentina, the two swapped roles as Brazil’s No. 9 fed Firmino.

With the ball cleared from their own box, Jesus was on hand to receive the ball by cushioning it with his chest to take it over the head of his marker; then, controlling it with his head, he rampaged towards goal.

Once the ball kindly squirted out in front of him after a failed challenge, he must have known he was in.

The Manchester City striker met his club teammate in Nicolas Otamendi, who tried wildly to stop him, but was ultimately powerless as the ball found Firmino who was lying in wait to put the ball in the net.

Brazil’s 2-0 win over Argentina is a huge win for them, and also represents yet another clean sheet for Reds ‘keeper Alisson. The two will be hoping they can all the way and beat either Peru or Chile in the final.
