Fans at Prenton Park chose to run onto the pitch after the final whistle sounded on Liverpool’s first pre-season friendly.
Tranmere were no match for the Reds who managed to put three goals past the Rovers in each half.
Nathaniel Clyne, Rhian Brewster, Divock Origi, Curtis Jones and Bobby Duncan all scored as Liverpool thrashed the hosts.
It’s at the sound of the final whistle that fans then decided to run onto the pitch to celebrate the Reds return to football, even if it just our first pre-season fixture!
