(Video) Brewster shines in Tranmere post-match as raucous Reds want to “talk about six”

Rhian Brewster marked his return to the Reds with two well-taken finishes to add a brace to Liverpool’s half-a-dozen goals in their pre-season friendly against Tranmere Rovers on Thursday night.

When the two sides met in last year’s pre-season, a serious injury forced Brewster to watch from the stands as he fought back to regain fitness.

This time, of course, he made the most of his first-half opportunity and scored twice to help the Reds to a 3-0 half-time scoreline.

If you sign up to LFCTVGO, there’s a whole range of clips to watch and you can follow every kick of the ball in the Reds pre-season, including this post-match interview with Brewster.

We’d urge you to do so, as it also enables you to watch the friendlies as well, but if you want to see the Brewster video we’ve  mentioned, you can do so via this link.

One of the best bits of the whole interview was hearing an elated Reds fan in the background shouting the Klopp-coined “Let’s talk about six baby,” which Brewster was audibly happy about.

Brewster sounded professional, mature, and said all the right things in his post-match interview duties.

“Obviously it’s good to get two goals and an assist, but overall I think the first-half team and second-half team played really well,” the young striker humbly admitted.

Hopefully from here, the 19-year-old prospect can make the most of expected, further opportunities in this year’s pre-season and show Klopp exactly why he has put so much faith in him.
