Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent were bound to be compared with each-other after they both started Liverpool’s first pre-season friendly at Prenton Park.
The Welshman had the benefit of starting in the preferred position, but his performance was on another level than that of his English counterpart and shows he may be capable of stepping up for Jurgen Klopp this season.
Kent looked powerful on the left flank, but lost possession of the ball far too often. Whereas Wilson painted a very composed figure on the right wing – earning himself an assist for Rhian Brewster’s first goal.
