Liverpool make offer for Ligue 1 star as club demands decision, according to L’Equipe

Nicolas Pepe will be forced to make a decision on his future by the end of next week, according to reliable French outlet L’Equipe, and he has four options.

The Ivorian international who has been on duty at the African Cup of Nations of the summer doesn’t have long to choose where he wants to ply his trade, as per the same report – Lille, Liverpool, Arsenal or Inter.

L’Equipe also claim that Pepe would prefer a move to the French champions PSG, but Lille understandably don’t want to strengthen their rivals.

Liverpool have been continuously linked with a move for Pepe, but recent reports state that the club are not interested in him and won’t be looking to spend much this summer.

The winger enjoyed a superb season in the French top flight last term, scoring over 20 goals in all competitions and making waves around Europe with his brand of dribbling and shooting.

He does his best work on the right, like Mohamed Salah, cutting in and scoring with his left – so it may seem odd for the Reds to spend a lot of money on someone who plays in the same position as one of our best players.
