Very impressive statistic highlights the great job the Reds did on Saturday against Arsenal

Liverpool were great against Arsenal on Saturday, winning the game comfortably by three goals to one and maintaining their 100% record in the Premier League so far.

Goals from Joel Matip and Mo Salah (2) saw the Reds over the line in what was their most complete performance of the campaign to date.

According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal found themselves dispossessed in their own defensive third eight times in the first 45 minutes.

Not only is that the most by any team this season, but it is also the most any team has managed against the Gunners in the last 10 years.

For a team who were not even operating at the peak of their powers, that is seriously impressive. It felt like the Reds could go up another gear or two on Saturday if they needed to – just imagine if they had.

Burnley are next up in the Premier League in what will be a completely different test to the one the Reds faced last weekend. There is no reason, though, to think that the Reds can’t pass it.
