The Reds overcame a late onslaught from Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League to get over the line and make it six wins from six at the start of the new season.
Goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino in the first half should have made it much easier for the Reds, but Chelsea did well in the second half and got a goal back via N’Golo Kante.
With some dodgy defending and suspect moments, the Reds were made to keep sticking in there towards the end of the game, but got the three points in the end.
This is how a relived fanbase reacted when Michael Oliver blew the final whistle.
My nerves are foooked but thank you Liverpool. 3 points at the bridge and top of the table. #LFC

Didn’t deserve to win that…….but did. And I’m delighted. Up The Reds.
