Reds hierarchy becoming ‘increasingly fearful’ that Jurgen Klopp could leave to take dream job

Liverpool are said to be becoming increasingly concerned that Jurgen Klopp will not sign a new deal at Anfield and will instead take on his dream job coaching the German national team when his contract expires in three year’s time, according to the Daily Mirror.

Fenway Sports Group have so far been unsuccessful in convincing Klopp to sign up to a new contract that would keep him at the club, with the German’s agent confirming as much a few weeks back.

Klopp is 100% happy at Anfield for now and there is no suggestion that he will not see out the rest of his current deal, but Reds fans all want him to stay for longer given the job he has done so far. Keeping Klopp at the club is absolutely vital to the continued success of the team.

Speculation continues over who could be the man to take over whenever Klopp does depart, with Steven Gerrard an obvious candidate, and Pep Lijnders, the coach who took the press conference before the trip to MK Dons last week is also high up on the list.
