When Liverpool were cruising last night, with the score at 3-1, those in the ground were quite surprised to look up and see the Anfield scoreboard reading Liverpool 3-3 Salzburg!
So when this turned out to be an accurate foretelling of events, many eyes opened!

Thankfully, Mo Salah scored and won Liverpool the game 4-3, avoiding the kind of hysterical reaction that would no doubt have come if we’d lost or drawn a game from 3-0 up at home.
Still, the warning signs were there regarding not only the scoreboard, but our defending.
Joe Gomez was poor, and Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and even Virgil van Dijk could have done better during certain moments before Salzburg’s goals.
Let’s hope we sharpen up before Leicester City on Saturday, as Jamie Vardy is in form and capable of finding the net – as he often does against us and other big sides.
