Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil isn’t have the best time of his career, at the moment at Arsenal, but is expected to start against Liverpool in the League Cup.
Gunners’ captain Granit Xhaka is at the centre of some debatable behaviour at their club, at the minute, with fans booing the Swiss international as he exited the field the other day.
The skipper won’t play against the Reds this week, but Ozil looks set to be given a chance to turn Unai Emery’s head, and has attempted to rally his team ahead of the game.
The German international said, in an Instagram post: “Big game ahead. No matter what – the only way is standing together as one.”
